COVID Update

LAST UPDATED: 20th Sept 2021

With the recent COVID pandemic bringing travel to a standstill and with many countries closing borders to international travel we understand this is at the forefront of your mind when planning your next surf adventure.

We will be updating this page regularly, but you can always chat to our surf experts for the most up to date advice in regards to your trip, course or surf camp.

New Bookings

If you’re looking ahead to your next surf trip and would like to get it all booked in we’re still happy to help!

As of July 2020 as border restrictions have begun to ease for some countries (including many of the awesome destinations we have surf camps, trips and courses in) we’re now excepting new bookings again.

All bookings made from July 2020 will be subject to supplier COVID terms and conditions – for many of the instructor courses we offer this means they are now non refundable, however if your trip is cancelled or you can’t travel due to COVID a free date change will be possible.

A lot of our resorts, surf camp and surf trips have flexible date policies and reduced cancellation conditions.

If you have any questions chat to our surf travel experts and we can inform you of the most up to date T&Cs for your trip before you book.

What Countries Are Open?

The list of countries opening up for travel and their entry requirements is changing constantly, so we’d advised checking the relevant country immigration sites before locking in any travel plans, and subscribing to their updates.

Some countries (such as Australia, New Zealand and the UK) have also imposed restrictions on foreign travel, so make sure you’re aware of the latest requirements by your home country as well.

For those travelling on British Passport the Official Foreign Travel Advice site is updated daily;

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

We recommend checking these regularly as there are constant updates to restrictions, quarantines requirements and COVID test requirements.

As of Oct 2021 3 of our most popular surf destinations – The Maldives, Sri Lanka and Indonesia – are all opening up for travel again and have come off the UK Red list too.

Airline Restrictions

Many airlines (including the likes of Emirates, Etihad and Qatar) have now implemented pre travel COVID testing requirements – meaning you will have to present a negative COVID test to be able to board.

Again, check with your airline for the most up to date information.

What If You Need To Cancel An Existing Booking?

Even as things move forward, we know your plans may still have to be altered, so feel free to chat to our team anytime you have questions or to figure out your options if you need a date change of cancellation.

Our team are working hard to make sure that we help you out as much as possible – so if you need to cancel or have any questions, you can email us on [email protected] or WhatsApp on +44 740 182 7447 and we’ll be happy to help.

In the mean time guys, please be safe, look after each other, and take precautions to keep yourselves healthy.
