Cruising out from Padang you’ll enjoy 10 days of tropical surfing vibes out in the Mentawais with your newfound surf crew, exploring empty breaks as well as more recognizable spots like Bankvaults, Kanduis, Beng Bengs, and Ebays.
Your experienced crew will pick the best spots in the area, taking into account everyone’s style and skill level. The Mentawai Islands offer up something for everyone – fun playful walls, reeling reefs, and of course those postcard-perfect barrels everyone dreams of.
Sleeping near the lineup gives you the opportunity for a truly perfect dawn patrol session before the surf camps head out and you’ll surf until your arms can take no more!
And when you’re not in the water making the most of the perfection on offer kick back on the spacious 3 story deck, kick back with a cold Bintang and watch the waves, or enjoy the pics of the day over dinner.

The Mentawai Islands are famed for some of the best and most consistent surf breaks in the world – here are some of the spots that you could well hit up…
Ebay – A reeling left hander it can hold a variety of swell, even producing some barrel selections on the right conditions
Bank Vaults – certainly one of the heavier and more advanced surf spots in the area expect big hollow barrels. It needs a bigger swell to start working, but when it does it can give you the ride of your life.
Beng Beng – this left is super fun with a forgiving take off and long reeling lefts. One of our teams personal favourites.
Burger World – this long, reeling right hander is perhaps one of the most picturesque waves in the area – peeling off a beach filled with palm trees!
Pit Stops – this wedgey right hande. Expect some barrel filled take off and long fun walls.
Nipussi – this fast and shallow right hander works in a variety of swell and wind making it a good alternative to Burger World. But given the right conditions this is also a super fun wave.
