Warm water, palm-lined beaches, a laid-back island vibe and some of the most fun waves in Asia.
Siargao has built a serious reputation among surfers — and for good reason.
Whether you’re picking up a board for the first time or looking to progress on quality reef breaks, this island delivers.

Year-Round

There’s a reason Siargao keeps appearing on best-island lists year after year. The place has a rare combination of things that are hard to find together — consistent surf, warm water, genuine island atmosphere and all round good vibes.
The headline act is Cloud 9. A fast, hollow reef break that hosts international surf competitions and is one of the most photographed waves in Asia. If you’re not ready for it yet, the iconic boardwalk is one of the best vantage points in surfing.
But Siargao isn’t just Cloud 9. Daku is one of the team’s personal favourites — a playful, deep-water reef break off the south of the island that’s ideal for high-end beginners and intermediates. Cemeteries and Stimpys offer more variety for those wanting to explore. There’s genuinely something for every level.
Off the water, the island moves at its own pace. Island-hop to empty sandbars, eat fresh seafood, explore the palm-fringed backroads on a scooter, catch a sunset from a lagoon. It’s the kind of place that’s hard to leave.
