Absolutely amazing holiday, Stayed in an over water suite 708. Staff, Food, Atmosphere was second to none. From the welcome to Departure everything was perfect.
Excursions were very enjoyable and I’d definitely recommend the guided Jet Ski hire.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be back
We really appreciate how great Ian was to deal with and we had the absolute best time at the Cinnamon Dhonveli at Pasta Point.
Dara, Mikey, Ashley, Naanuey from Atoll Adventures were our guides for our stay. They were exceptionally knowledgeable, easy to approach, fun to chat with and we felt like part of the family from early on in our trip. We noticed how many of the Surfers were repeat travellers; most had been coming back throughout the last 10-20 years! You know the place and Atoll Travel crew is great when people keep coming back. We also noticed how a fair few of the surfers knew each other from over the years so it was great to see the bonded friendships they had. I know when we go back we will probably know a face or two which is nice to know. The guides also took us non surfers out (surfers welcome too if you could get them away from the waves) to snorkel around the island in the best spots pending on what the current was doing. I swam inches away from turtles, saw loads of reef sharks, massive humphead parrot fish, eels, crabs, dolphins and a seemingly endless amount of different species of fish. I’m glad I took the GoPro.
Another specials thanks to our bar attendant Maniik who always knew my coffee & cocktail order and kept us well hydrated in the afternoons, he also had a great sense of humour. Also Dara & Harry got some great photos and videos which were far better quality than the ones i tried to take on my phone of my hubby surfing.
Also noting that the food in the resort is excellent! They have plenty of gluten and egg free options, fresh made omelettes, pasta dishes to whatever you desire and seafood stir fry’s all cooked right in front of you. Plenty of different cuisines to choose from at each meal. And a massive array of deserts. We will certainly miss the food now we are almost home.
Wow! That’s the best way to sum up Dhonveli and Pasta!
As a goofy footer this was an absolute dream trip and splurging on the overwater bungalow as a birthday treat was well worth it!
Dara and the crew are super friendly and helped me score some absolutely incredible waves.
Count me in for next year boys!
