Stoked Surf Adventures grew out of StokedForTravel.com — the surf travel blog that founder Chris started after years of chasing waves across the globe. What began as a way to document the best breaks, resorts and hidden corners of the surf world became something more: a trusted resource that thousands of travelling surfers relied on to plan their trips.
By 2018, it was clear the next step was to stop just recommending trips and start booking them. Stoked Surf Adventures was born — a surf travel agency built on the same foundation of genuine, first-hand experience that made the blog worth reading.
Today, we work with a hand-picked portfolio of surf resorts, camps and experiences across 15+ destinations worldwide.
We don’t list everything. We list what we’d personally book — and the difference matters.
Every property we list has been personally vetted by our team. We’d rather offer 40 experiences we truly believe in than 400 options we can’t speak to. If it’s on our site, we’ve been there — or someone on our team has.
Two surfers can want completely different things from the same destination. We take the time to understand your ability, travel style and budget before we make a single recommendation. The right trip means something different to everyone.
We’re not a call centre. When you contact Stoked, you speak directly with a surf travel specialist — someone who’s been to the destination, knows the nuances, and is invested in making your trip exceptional. We work closely with our resort and camp partners to build experiences our clients actually want.
Sharing a lineup at Niyama with two other surfers, after dinner at an underwater restaurant and a massage over the ocean — I remember thinking: this is the best surf trip I’ve ever been on!

On the road since 2009. Chris founded StokedForTravel.com before launching the agency in 2018. His obsession: the Maldives — particularly empty Pasta Point and the ultra-private lineups of Niyama’s outer atolls.

Started surfing 8 years ago and has never been drawn to the obvious spots. Mozambique, the Solomon Islands, Central Indonesia — Charlotte specialises in the kind of places that don’t make it into the mainstream guides.

Surfing since 13, now based in Lennox Head on Australia’s East Coast. Josh is perpetually hunting empty peaks and brings that same eye for quality to everything he recommends for the Indo and Pacific programmes.

A lifelong surfer from the Canary Islands with 12 years in the travel industry. Carla brings a rare combination of wave knowledge and logistical expertise — the person you want in your corner when planning anything complex.

Born into the cold water waves of the Gower in Wales but now living in warmer climates, Jimbo is either in the water with a camera or cruising on a longboard — and usually with both in tow.

A surf coach for over a decade, Crawf understands progression better than anyone on the team. Between clients, you’ll find him on the points at Noosa. His advice on ability-matched destinations is worth its weight in gold.
