If you’re looking to learn to surf in Bali, or push your skills to the next level on an epic adventure, then this 4 Week Indo Surf Adventure is exactly what you’ve been looking for!
Covering Canggu, Lombok, Nusa Lembongan and Medewi you’ll experience a mix of what Indonesia has to offer and surf a huge variety of surf spots too – adding to your ocean knowledge and giving you the skills to become an even more confident and competent surfer.
Guided and coached by internationally qualified instructors who have years of experience, you’ll be in good hands throughout your trip and no matter what your skill level, they’ll help you progress.
So if you’re looking to learn to surf in Bali or looking to level up your surf skills with some awesome new surf buddies, this is 4 week of good vibes and pumping waves.
This means that whether your travelling solo, with a partner or in a group you’ll be able to make the most of the spots on offer and you’ll always surf within your limits. Whether that’s barrels or something slightly mellower, we have you covered!
It’s not all about the waves though – Indonesia is a great place to travel and explore in its own right, with the colourful culture providing a well-rounded experience. Mingle with monkeys in cliff top temples, barter for trinkets at the local markets or simply kick back with a cold Bintang and get a massage on the beach – whatever takes your fancy, you’ll find it!
To give your arms a bit of a rest and to help you check out what Indo has to offer away from the ocean you’ll also get stuck into some white water rafting and hike up a volcano for sunrise.
…but you won’t stray from the water for too long, as swimming with majestic manta rays is also on the agenda!
There’re heaps of other day trips and excursions you can choose to get involved in too – from fishing to yoga – but we’ll leave that decision down to you. It’s your trip after all!
With the balance of surf, coaching, adventure and sunshine, the only downside of a surf adventure in Indonesia will be boarding the plane home! You’ll leave with a heap of new surf buddies, a taste for adventure and some good tan lines!
Denpasar Airport, Bali
On arrival in Denpasar Airport you will be greeted by your trip leaders who will take you to the surf camp in Canggu for a welcome BBQ with the rest of the surfers joining you on the adventure.
We will quickly wave goodbye to the Island of Bali and take a short-haul flight (about 45 minutes) over to the Island of Lombok.
We will be based in the small fishing village of Gerupuk and will hit up early morning surfs, exploring the waves by boat.
This week will really push your surfing to a new level and get you progressing steadily with support from our trip leaders, coaches, and local guides. We will also take an afternoon off to go out and see Lombok’s famous waterfalls.
A short ferry ride from Lombok takes us over to Lembongan.
The six days spent in Lombok are likely to be pretty intense surfing wise so we will take a nice relaxing rest in Nusa Lembongan where we’ll go snorkelling with manta rays and explore this magical little island.
The waves are tidal, so we surf when the waves are good, but get some great down time to chill by the pool, go and get a massage, explore the island or do some yoga.
After the Island Hopping we still spend some time in the popular Canggu.
With its assortment of amazing restaurants, natural beauty and multitude of fun waves it is the perfect place to build up some energy for the road trip.
For the final leg we will head road trip up to Balian and Medewi, home to one of the longest left hand waves in the world.
Surfing in Medewi gives you the perfect chance to hone in your surfing skills and work on your goals set by your coaches.
The final days will be spent back in Canggu before departing for the airport. At this point you will be sun kissed, tanned and a newly converted surf addict.
The four weeks will have given you the opportunity to push your surfing to an entirely new level, as well as experienced a new culture and made great friends, and you’ll be eager for the next adventure as we wave you goodbye at the airport.
