After a few days of getting to know your new surf crew and guides in amongst the wave filled fun of Canggu you’ll load up the cars and 80km head up along the West Coast of Bali – where one of Indos (and the worlds!) longest and most fun left hand point breaks is nestled amongst the rice paddies and palm trees.
Suitable for high end beginners and up (chat to our surf experts if you’re looking for a learn to surf experience) – the long walls of Medewi point break are the perfect training ground for your surf skills, so expect to push your carves, turns and green wave riding to the next level during your time there!
Under the watchful eye of your experienced and knowledgable surf coaches you’ll benefit from a mixture of in water and dry land coaching – including photo and video analysis which will quickly help you iron out and bad habits and tweak your technique.
You’ll finish off your Bali Surf Camp experience back in the bustling surf village of Canggu, where some cold Bintangs, more waves and some lively nightlife is the perfect send off!

After landing in the Island Of The Gods you’ll spend the first 3 days chilling in the hipster surf mecca of Canggu where you’ll meet all your new surf buddies and your coaches can assess your skill levels to help make the most of your Bali roadtrip!
Time to head up the West Coast to one of the most fun left handers in Indonesia – Medewi. This long, walling point break sits just 80m from where you’re staying, so it’s time to eat. sleep, surf repeat!
After a solid stint of leg burning lefts which have no doubt allowed you to progress your surfing heaps, it’s time to finish off your Bali Surf Camp with another few nights in Canggu, where more waves and pumping nightlife await!
Coming into the trip as a beginner was quite intimidating at first but it’s actually totally fine. The coaching was incredible, they never pushed you to do anything that you weren’t comfortable with and you’ll improve super quickly.
