So friendly staff! Taking care of everyone personally! The food! The great attitude! The cats in the yard! The service!
Firushan and the rest of the crew made us feel like home. The property itself has a cozy and chill atmosphere. Breakfast was super delicious and it was no problem for them to adapt to our vegetarian needs. The rooms are spacious and the A/C works perfectly. Towels as well as beach towels are provided. Bikes are free of charge as well, which makes it easier to explore the island. Everyone is very friendly and is willing to help whenever questions arise.
When we arrived Firushan showed us around and let us know about good restaurants, shops and supermarkets, and the bikini beaches.
On my birthday Firushan decorated our bed beautifully and we celebrated my birthday with a big chocolate indulgence cake which Firushan organized from Male. To die for!!
When we checked out, Firushan dropped us at the jetty in the early morning and made sure that we get the right tickets.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we would not hesitate to come back whenever we are back on Thulusdhoo.

One of many beautiful islands in the Maldives. This retreat is in the centre of the island, and although there is no sea view, it is such great value and it’s a short walk to the beach. Given that we were only at the hotel for sleeping, dinner, and to change outfits, it didn’t matter being off the beach. Now the good part (other than the great price). The excursions were small (just us), personalised to our schedule, and a fraction of the price of the flasher resorts we stayed in such as Cinnamon Dhonveli. The island has many beautiful spots all within a couple of minutes by bike (which are complimentary). I recommend including Akiri Surf resort as a big part of your Maldives visit.
