You’ll spend 14 nights at the Ticket To Ride Surf House in Ahangama – where you’ll discover why the island of Sri Lanka is voted amongst some of the best surf destinations in the world.
Under the watchful eye of your experienced surf instructors – including ex-world tour competitor Nikita Robb – you’ll take your surfing to the next level, no matter what your current experience is.
The range of incredible surf breaks around the Sri Lanka surf camp has something for everyone, whether you’re learning to surf, tackling your first reef breaks, or hunting for something fun and punchy for your turns.
As well as plenty of waves on your doorstep you’ll also be fine-tuning your body with surf-specific yoga sessions on the rooftop terrace.
Cooled by the ocean breeze (and overlooking the surf camps home break!) you’ll wind down your muscles after a hard day in the waves, as well as building that core and flexibility that will allow you to surf even better, for longer.
Throughout the 2 weeks you’ll be joined by a whole new crew of surf buddies, explore some of the incredible culture, food, and experiences that make Sri Lanka such an incredible travel destination, and enjoy a few sunset beers and cocktails in the process too.
And as an added bonus, the December start date encompasses Christmas and New Years Eve too – and we can’t think of many better spots we’d rather be for a tropical festive season!

After being collected from the airport – you’ll be welcomed to the Surf House, where you’ll meet your trip leaders and new surf buddies. Time to kick back on island time and enjoy the first of many incredible Sri Lankan meals!
Time to settle into your sleep, surf, yoga routine, and enjoy the incredible waves this stretch of coastline has to offer. With daily surf coaching as well as video and photo analysis you’re pushing your skills to the next level – combined with surf-specific yoga to strengthen and relax those muscles!
After a week filled with waves, it’s time to let your hair down a bit and rest those tired paddling arms! The team will organise an awesome party day and night – so enjoy some cold beers and cocktails and hit the dance floor, island style!
