Super fun trip, camp was right on the beach and great waves for all levels.
Food was on point and the evening post surf vibes were amazing – so many good times!
I highly recommend spot x surf camp! I recently spent 4 and 1/2 months there doing the surf academy then I even got to work as a guide after and it was way better then I expected it to be!
The surf lessons every morning were amazing! Great instructors with loads of experience, my surfing went from beginner in the whitewash to a short board going out the back on all size of waves. Not to mention the dolphins we got the surf with daily!
The accommodation was great with brand new mattresses and loads of friendly roommates who all end up feeling like family! We always had games to play and stuff to do and I really enjoyed having the campfire every night!
The food was great for camp style food! They brought in a new chef and the food was always different and always enough with second plate available almost every night!
If you are going to Australia and looking for a real Aussie experience outside of the city on the edge of a national park, with a private beach for surfing literally just steps away from your bed, then spot x surf camp is 100% the place for you!!!
I did the Mojo cadet program for 3 months and enjoyed ever single bit of it!:D Spot X is paradise with a beautiful beach, wildlife like dolphins and kangaroos everywhere and great parties. The surf academy was a well set up program which helped me from being a beginner surfer to a becoming a surf instructor in only 3 months. The lessons in the water where awesome and the theory lessons and video analysis really helpful. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to know what surfing is all about and wants to do something out of the ordinary!🤙

I can honestly say Spot x was the highlight of my east coast trip!! Firstly the location is so great- the camp has its own beach with the nicest sunsets. Lessons are so great for beginners, the waves are perfect sizes and the instructors make it really easy for you and are a good time! They really give you a lot of one on one time too, regardless of group size. Food is included and they feed you lots with buffe style during the day so plenty of variety and so good! Best of all it really has that camp feeling, with fires at night and drinks and games so you meet so many people that are also traveling the same places! Definitely go here- it really started my journey with a bang!
