More good news on the surf travel front – everyone’s favourite, wave-filled country – Indonesia – is welcoming travellers again!
Yup, as of September 2021 it’s now possible to apply for an offshore Indonesian visa!
And with the 2022 season about to kick off, nows the perfect time to score uncrowded Indo – including Bali and the Mentawai Islands.
Visa Processing
Obviously, visas vary from country to country – so the best advice we can give is to chat to our buddy Tanya from Bali Visa and she’ll be able to give you the most up-to-date info, including visa options, quarantine, and vaccination requirements.
Just drop her a WhatsApp message on +62 819-6020-195 and mention we sent you her way!
2022 Update
Update as of 1st March 2022, current quarantine restrictions having been changing a lot recently, but currently it’s 3 days in an approved hotel on arrival, which can now also be done in Bali. Again, chat to Tanya for the most up to date advice.
There have also been talks of the 30 day, visa on arrival (VOA) being reinstated soon – which is obviously amazing news – however this is yet to be confirmed.
