Beginning in the bustling town of Ahangama in the South West of the country (after being picked up from Colombo Airport) you’ll experience some of the coasts best waves from your base in this bustling fishing village.

Ahangama on the SW Coast is the first destination on our Sri Lanka Adventures and the location of our surf camps. Ahangama is a true local town bursting with energy, delicious food, colourful markets and little tourism despite being home to two great waves; possibly the best waves in South West Sri Lanka.

    Arugam Bay

This small fishing village is home to one of the longest and most perfect right hand point breaks in the World and is easily the most famous spot in Sri Lanka.

PLEASE NOTE: May Departure will head to Ahangama first

    Day 1Welcome To Sri Lanka

Upon arrival you will be greeted at the airport by your Trip Leader and other riders, before travelling by private transfer to the surf camp in Arugam Bay

Here you will be introduced to the team and given time to settle in before we tuck in to a traditional Sri Lankan curry 🙂

The first week spent in Arugam Bay is pure magic. Surfing right hand point breaks at sunrise, relaxing afternoons and dinners out every night at the awesome local restaurants.

2 weeks at the Surf House in Ahangama will see your surfing improve more in two weeks that you could alone in two years. Sunrise surfs, breakfast, theory, functional surf training, CHILL, surf again, sunset beer, dinner + REPEAT 🙂

    Departure DayFarewell Sri Lanka :'(

On our final night we will have a group dinner and drinks celebrating an awesome trip (whilst hopefully getting up early to enjoy one last dawnie) Feeling refreshed, flexible and ripping on a surfboard, you will then head the airport for the final farewell.
