A Maldives surf trip should be on any surfers bucket list – this island paradise is full of world class surf breaks, warm clear waters and sunshine!
Until recently if you wanted to surf in the Maldives you’d have to splash out on a luxury resort with a private surf break or smash your budget with a surf live aboard – but now it’s possible to surf the Maldives on a budget and enjoy some Maldivian hospitality on a local island.
So we’ve put together an epic Maldives surf and stay package on Thulusdhoo Island – home to the famous Cokes surf break and nestled amongst some of the best waves the Maldives has to offer.
You’ll be based at the 4* Season Paradise, sat right on the beach front and with an incredible rooftop infinity pool – which you can check the waves at Cokes and neighbouring surf break chickens from. Not bad for a morning surf check hey?!
A short walking distance from the paddle out to Cokes you can surf there anytime you wish – but we’ve also included surf transfers to both Cokes and Chickens too, meaning less time paddling and more time scoring the waves of your life.
With a huge daily breakfast buffet (you can also upgrade to half or full board too) and return ferrt transfers you have everything you need to make the most of your Maldives surf trip and relax in paradise.
So what’s included in our Maldives surf packages on Thulusdhoo?
And of course, if you need a lay day from the pumping waves or want to enjoy more of what the Maldives has to offer there are plenty of day trips you can add to your stay.
Fishing, sandbank excursions (our favourite!), turtle snorkeling, scuba diving and a day trip to a luxury resort or you can even add on a nice relaxing massage to help your arms recover!

Cokes– the most famous right hand surf break in the Maldives and right on your doorstep! This fast, hollow break serves up some incredible rides and barrel sections. Be prepared for some memorable waves!
Chickens– a super long left hander on the other side of the channel from Cokes this is a goofy footers dream. The inside section offers some fun rides for lower end intermediates too on the right swell.
Ninjas– a favourite amongst long boarders and more beginner surfers this softer right hander is usually smaller than Cokes and Chickens. But don’t be fooled, on a big swell the main peak runs fast.
Sultans– another famed Maldivian right hander Sultans is fast and hollow wave so be prepared to drop, grab some rail and enjoy some serious time in the barrel!
Per person, based on 2 sharing, 4 night standard room package
I recently trusted Crawf from Stoked Adventures to set up my surf package on Thulusdhoo island to surf the legendary cokes/chickens/jailbreaks and I had the most blissful holiday ever. Crawf was always super friendly, responsive, professional and honest. Highly recommend going through him if you ever plan a surf trip to the Maldives, it was all smooth.
